The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the island of Oahu , the Kohala districts on the Big Island, and the summit of Haleakala on Maui.
The advisory for the Kohala districts on the Big Island and the summit of Haleakala on Maui are in effect until midnight Saturday.
Wind gusts are expected to near 50 mph.
This strong gusts could result in downed trees and flying debris.
