UPDATE: Prosecutors charged Melissann Rosa of Waimanalo with first degree assault.
Her bail was set at $50,000 and remains in police custody.

An argument between boyfriend and girlfriend turned violent and now, a 20-year-old Waimanalo woman faces attempted murder charges.
Police say the woman used what they called a "dangerous instrument" to injure her boyfriend on Tuesday in Kailua.
She was arrested at Kailua District Park and booked on suspicion of second degree attempted murder.
Her 18-year-old boyfriend, whom she has a child with, was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The suspect remains in police custody.
