A pedestrian accident on the Big Island has left a 30-year-old woman dead.
It happened just after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on Hawaii Belt Road in Kealakekua. Witnesses say the woman was struck by a car at an unknown rate of speed.
She was taken to Kona Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
