A woman died and a man almost drowned in a swimming pool just before 2 p.m. Sunday at the Makini Apartments on Kinau Street.
The woman was 25-years-old and the man is 29-years-old.
The man remains in critical condition.
Honolulu police say there are no signs of foul play.
There is no information on what led to the drowning at this time.
