Cabral allegedly ran a ghost payroll scheme at the Hana Group putting her personal associates on the payroll even though they didn’t work for the company.
"They felt like they were betrayed," said Marshall Silverberg, Assistant U.S. Attorney. "They felt like they gave her trust. And that trust was betrayed. Hopefully they will have at least some closure today."
Cabral declined to speak during her sentencing.
She has been ordered to turn herself in to authorities by
