‘Okaden’ trams beloved by community

OKAYAMA, Japan >> Trams in Okayama City, affectionately known as “Okaden,” began operating in 1912, initially connecting Okayama Station with Korakuen garden, a sprawling landscape garden created in 1700. Since then, the urban transportation system has been a famous local landmark beloved by Okayama citizens.
