Injured horseback rider rescued by helicopter from Nanakuli trail

A 38-year-old woman was airlifted from the Palehua Trail in Nanakuli on Wednesday evening after falling from a horse and sustaining injuries that left her unable to continue on her own, according to the Honolulu Fire Department.
