Column: He aha ka pua e kapa ʻia nei i ka pilo?

Synopsis: The Amorphophallus titanum, or corpse flower, is a flower that appears for a very short time, and emits an extremely foul odor. It is being raised on Kauaæi in order to perpetuate the species. The group that has taken on this task has given it a Hawaiian name — Pua Pilo (stinky flower). Are there other possible meanings?
