Letter: Use portion of TAT to promote isle virtues

Since Duke Kahanamoku’s reign in ocean activities that put Hawaii on the world stage starting back in early Territorial days, tourism has meant economic success to Hawaii’s residents. Hawaii’s beaches, weather and its world-famous aloha spirit all add to its attraction as one of the most famous and sought-out vacation destinations for tourism.
