Felon sentenced for fraud, still faces hit-and-run charges

A 50-year-old convicted felon who pleaded guilty to conspiring in 2024 to defraud a man in his 90s of more than $30,000 will spend a year and a day in federal prison, and still faces separate charges in connection with allegdly hitting and seriously injuring a Honolulu firefighter who was standing outside of his truck.
