Mahalo to the Navy and Army for working to open Kolekole Pass from Lualualei Naval Road to Lyman Road, allowing access through the Waianae Range during last week’s tsunami warning. With the gridlock along the Leeward Coast, many on the west side were very grateful for the alternate route to reach higher, safer ground.
