Letter: Waste is a ballroom at the White House

The small, two-paragraph news item, “White House unveils plan for $200 million ballroom,” in Friday’s paper caught my eye (Star-Advertiser, Around the World, Aug. 1). Wasn’t the president just criticizing the Fed chair for renovation expenses at the Federal Reserve offices in Washington, D.C.?
