Column: No to Bill 37, dubious Haleiwa project

The Star-Advertiser editorial board appears to support the misguided “Haleiwa Backyards” commercial and rental housing development project proposed by developer D.G. “Andy” Anderson (“Housing project solid for Haleiwa,” Our View, July 11). City Council Bill 37 would change the state land use designation for his land from agriculture to urban.
