Hawaii is No. 1: Top state in the nation for marine debris collected from our beaches last year, the Surfrider Foundation reports. Three of Surfrider’s Top 10 heaviest beach-cleanup hauls in the nation came from Kauai beaches — and the poundage has spiked.
