Letter: Homeless encampment adds danger to tsunami

Had there been huge waves washed ashore by the tsunami at “Puka Pants” near Ulehawa Beach Park across from Hakimo Road in Nanakuli, the extremely large homeless encampments and those persons’ possessions would have littered and blocked the highway. This would have made the road impassable and dangerous for normal daily traffic, especially for emergency vehicles.
