Letter: Myeni settlement was suspiciously scuttled

The Honolulu City Council seemed ready to approve a $1.5 million settlement to the family of Lindani Myeni, but at the eleventh hour delayed a final approval vote following vocal opposition from police and city officials. This was in spite of a strong showing of public support for a settlement that would provide closure to Myeni’s widow, Lindsay Myeni, and their two young children.
