Letter: Mandatory unmasking of ICE agents poses danger

Recently, U.S. Sen. Mazie Hirono offered legislation that would require ICE agents to show their identities when encountering immigrants for detainment. Doesn’t she know that the reason these agents have had to take these extreme precautions is because people have used their identities to trace where they live? This jeopardizes the safety of the agents and their families.
