Column: Schools’ policy not discrimination

Students for Fair Admissions founder and president Edward Blum claims that Kamehameha Schools “bar(s) children from other races” (“Merit, need matter more than ancestry,” Island Voices, Sept 16). This assertion is erroneous and is based on his ignorance about who Native Hawaiians are.
