Letter: Senators must cross aisle, end shutdown

I believe it is time for the two Democratic senators from this state to cross party lines and vote for the continuing resolution (CR) to get the government back to work. These senators represent not only the 40,000-plus military residents of the state, but an untold number of military retirees like me, as well as the thousands of residents who work for the federal government.
