Hawaii’s airports avoid delays seen on mainland due to staff shortages

Despite the ongoing federal government shutdown and nationwide staffing shortages, Hawaii airports have so far managed to avoid significant delays, according to Shelly Kunishige, spokesperson for the state Department of Transportation.
