Letter: Early graduation option can give kids a leg up

Hawaii should make early high school graduation available statewide by announcing clear policies that allow students to graduate based on mastery instead of seat time. Currently, whether a student can graduate early often depends on the school they attend, creating unequal opportunities across the state.
