Well, better latish than never. It’s good to see Hawaii’s attorney general finally opening an investigation into an allegation that an “influential state legislator” accepted $35,000 in a paper bag in 2022. The exchange had been noted in a federal corruption case that got two now- former state legislators sent to prison.
