State, DOE schools, UH campuses close due to rain, flood and winds

State offices, public schools and all University of Hawaii campuses will be closed today as a powerful storm brings heavy rain, flash flooding and damaging winds across the islands, Gov. Josh Green announced at a Sunday news conference.
