Letter: Experience proves Hawaii’s still full of goodwill

Sometimes it’s difficult to live here, especially with the cost of living, but recently I saw why this is a wonderful place to live. I was entering the parking lot for Goodwill in Kaneohe and saw a man on his knees helping a homeless man who was in a bad condition. The helper had a shirt that showed he is a Goodwill employee. I later learned his name is Dave and that he was previously homeless, thus his concern for the homeless man.
