West scores 31 as HPU men topple first-place Point Loma

Joshua West made 11 of 13 field-goal attempts and finished with 31 points as the Hawaii Pacific men’s basketball team beat Point Loma 91-84 on Thursday in San Diego. Josh Niusulu added 19 points for the Sharks (17-9, 13-8 PacWest). The Sea Lions, who had already clinched the conference title, fell to 22-5, 17-4.
