Off the news: Congress spins wheels while TSA suffers

The inconvenience to flyers, plus hardships on TSA airport staffers, are unconscionable on the part of Congress members. These politicians are getting paid while having done very little over the five-week partial government shutdown to compromise, leaving TSA employees overworked without pay; nearly 500 agents have reportedly quit since mid-February.
