Rearview Mirror: Hawaii’s impact on the world is diverse and far-reaching

In the past year or two, I’ve started to notice that Hawaii has had a much bigger impact beyond our shores than one might expect from a small state with less than one-half of 1% of the U.S. population and land mass.
