Honolulu woman sentenced for filing false claims in Lahaina and Pacific Palisades wildfires

A 32-year-old Honolulu woman was sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court to four months in prison followed by three years of supervised release, along with paying $60,458 in restitution to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, following her guilty plea to conspiracy to commit wire fraud by submitting false disaster relief claims tied to the deadly Lahaina and Pacific Palisades wildfires.
