Kokua Line: Is rat lungworm disease only on Big Island?

Question: I have lived on Oahu for 10 years and I have never seen so many snails around. Since this rain started and has barely let up for nearly a month, I find them every day, mostly on my back lanai and also just outside the front door. I stepped on one as I was leaving the house. Do we need to be concerned about rat lungworm or is that only on the Big Island?
