Letter: Generals must stand against war of choice

In the daring rescue of the downed airman in Iran, the U.S. military demonstrated once again that its tactical competencies are exceptional. However, our civilian and military leaders have yet to articulate a coherent vision for the war they chose to wage on Iran. The horrific bombing of a girls’ school, Shajareh Tayyebeh, killing nearly 200, has not prompted any words of apology.
