Letter: How to make unfair draft even worse

Not sure I like this: Under the new 2026 National Defense Authorization Act, “every male citizen of the United States, and every other male person residing in the United States … between the ages of 18 and 26” will be registered for the draft automatically. The previous policy required young men to self-register within 30 days of their 18th birthday.
