Letter: Grand arch architecture has abhorrent history

The April 11 article, “Designs unveiled for Trump’s arch in Washington,” referred to it being modeled on Rome’s Arch of Titus, as was Paris’ Arc de Triomphe. The reference to Titus and information on Donald Trump’s plans brought to mind some unpleasant facts about Titus’ arch that shouldn’t be resurrected in our nation’s capital.
