Commission picks 6 semifinalists to be HPD chief

The Honolulu Police Commission picked six semifinalists from a pool of 41 applicants as the public gets closer to learning the identities of the candidates vying to serve as the city’s 13th police chief. Each candidate now will be interviewed by four stakeholder panels representing different constituencies that interact with HPD.
