Instagram to alert parents of multiple searches related to suicide

TOKYO >> A new feature will be added to Instagram in Japan this year that will notify parents if their child repeatedly searches for content related to suicide or self-harm, the Japanese arm of Meta Platforms, Inc., has announced.
