Letter: Replace car registrations with higher fuel tax

During my regular walks around my neighborhood, I have noticed a number of vehicles with expired registration and safety inspection stickers. Recently, I saw an older work truck with an expired safety inspection sticker dated 2015 and an expired registration sticker dated 2016. It’s still on the road.
