Off the news: Nematodes worm way into beetle fight

The Legislature failed to fund additional research on treatments to beat back the invasive Queensland Longhorn Beetle (QLB) this session. That’s shortsighted, and especially regrettable in light of research revealing that tiny roundworms present in the islands are natural enemies of the beetle.
