Letter: Where did the Waikiki homeless population go?

A recent article cites a 91% drop in homeless people in Waikiki, notably on Kalakaua Avenue and Kuhio Beach (“Waikiki core homelessness drops 91%,” Star-Advertiser, May 18). Sounds impressive, but the question that needs to be answered is, where did the homeless go? Did they go to shelters or just relocate to areas away from the tourists?
