Greenhouse emissions hit lowest levels since 1990

TOKYO >> Japan’s greenhouse gas emissions in fiscal 2024 fell 1.9% from the previous year and are the lowest since records began in fiscal 1990, the Environment Ministry said. The emissions totaled the equivalent of 1.046 billion tons of carbon dioxide.
