Letter: Trees might offer shade, but roots damaging road

It was nice to see a positive letter from a chronic complainer in Monday’s newspaper (“Thankful for shady trees along Hawaii Kai road,” Star-Advertiser, June . While the letter writer may be thankful for the shade, he isn’t paying attention to the road damage the trees have caused.
