Editorial: No DOJ do-over in fossil fuel suit

It’s no fun to fail a test, but if you bomb because you blow off studies, skip practice or don’t know the rules, it’s on you. Preparation, and understanding what’s expected, are basically part of the test, whether academic, athletic — or a case in a court of law. To be fair to all involved, do-overs are rarely allowed, unless there’s been wrongdoing, interference or error by the authority in charge.
