Editorial: Stop meddling in elections process

The engines of Hawaii’s vote-by-mail system are starting to rev up as the state prepares to print the ballots for the Aug. 8 primary election. And this is happening in the midst of some turbulence nationally over how the midterm elections will play out through the fall.
