Off the news: Public transit fares rise across Oahu

Starting today, most fares for TheBus, Skyline and TheHandi-Van are increasing, for the first time in four years, by an average of about 14%. Adult monthly passes have risen to $90 from the previous $80 and annual adult passes are now $990 from $880; for youth, monthly passes are $45 instead of $40, and annual passes are $495.
