Letter: Low prices, more riders will solve TheBus woes

TheBus has unfairly increased cash fare prices for people under 65 to $3.25 a ride from $3, and to $90 a month from $80. That’s $6.50 round trip, and a year’s worth of monthly fares equals $1,080, unless a $990 annual pass is purchased. People 65 years and older pay much lower prices of $1.25 for single rides, $20 for a monthly pass or $45 for an annual pass.
