Honolulu Mayor Blangiardi condemns City Council’s veto override

Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi blasted Wednesday the City Council override of his line-item vetoes, which he called a “reckless and shortsighted” move that will “effectively dismantle” a key city department by eliminating 15 jobs.
