Letter: Better ways to convey scripture in classroom

A recent letter to the editor suggested putting the Ten Commandments in schools (“Bring God back into school, teach unity,” Star-Advertiser, July 5). If someone was interested in getting scripture into public schools, I suggest a better alternative would be the Seven Corporal Works of Mercy:
