Letter: Create Hawaiian villages in Waianae and beyond

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs and the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands should take action and start traction to establish so-called “Hawaiian villages” on the Waianae coast and in areas highly populated by kanaka maoli. They should follow the lead of Kahauiki Village and other affordable rental communities throughout Hawaii.
