Michigan health officials ID ‘potential source’ of explosive diarrhea parasite

In a news release issued Monday, health officials in Michigan identified a possible source of an outbreak of cyclosporiasis, an illness resulting from infection with the parasite cyclospora, which is transmitted through food and water contaminated with feces.
