Letter: Resistance won’t make climate change go away

Two columns on climate change in Sunday’s Insight section illustrate remarkable, foolish and dangerous resistance to accepting what is happening all around us (“Ding-Dong! Implausible RCP8.5 climate scenario is dead, so amend climate acts” and “Isles’ government policies on sea level rise are too strict, and should be eased,” Star-Advertiser, Island Voices, July 12). By contrast, Chip Fletcher has such a great grasp on the issue, I hope people will review it (“Rolling back climate scenario does not roll back climate risks for Earth or for Hawaii,” Star- Advertiser, Island Voices, July 12).
