Letter: Beware of Democratic Socialists movement

It is baffling how suddenly political candidates representing the Democratic Socialists of America have gained popularity. The DSA objectives call for the dismantling of our existing government structure and supports open borders, defunding the police, ending cash bails and mass incarceration of criminals, and a whole host of government-funded free stuff.
