Gov. Green and Kawakami cruise to victory in the Democratic primary

Gov. Josh Green secured a spot on Hawaii’s Nov. 3 general election ballot, while Kauai Mayor Derek S.K. Kawakami took an insurmountable lead in the Democratic race for lieutenant governor after dominating the first primary election returns today.
